What’s top of my mind:
My appointment with my surgeon next Tuesday. I am anxious to discuss with him my next surgery. Looks like I may be getting a reversal of my ileostomy (i.e. No more Roger!)
Where I’ve been:
On my screened-in back porch, enjoying the 70 degree weather. My own little slice of at-home heaven.
Where I’m going:
Provincetown Massachusetts for a week in May for my 51st birthday. And maybe a trip to NYC for the first time in over 2 years.
What I’m watching:
Feel good comedies like “Bob’s Burgers” and “Parks and Recreation”. I need these light comedies to escape the reality of the world sometimes.
What I’m reading:
“Guy Gardner”, a comic series from 1992. He was a wayward Green Lantern, and I’ve never read it before. It’s time.
What I’m listening to:
I can’t get “Mama Do the Hump” by the Rizzle Kicks out of my head.
What I’m eating:
Healthier things than before, including mail-order low FODMAP Modify Meals.
Who needs a good slap:
A couple of my co-workers. ‘Nuf said.
What I’m planning:
A massive inventory and reorganizing of my comic book collection.
What’s making me smile:
Funny and Flirty texts from my friends everyday that make me laugh and help me feel cared about and connected.
I hope losing Roger will be good news? (Sorry, Roger.)
In addition to the no-gluten do you have to adhere to low FODMAP too? I guess that makes sense but it never occurred to me before.

It will be good news, indeed!
I don’t have to eat low FODMAP, but given all my digestive issues, it seems like a good idea to eat such foods when I can to not overly tax my innards.

I hope it’s good riddance to Roger. I wouldn’t be able to get Mama doing the hump out of my head either.
