I am SOOOOO excited to be done with the work week and start enjoying the 3-day weekend.
First up, I assembled my new Hall of Justice tower I ordered from Pottery Barn Kids, that arrived in the mail yesterday:

Next , we ordered pizza and made cocktails. I’m having blood orange cosmos tonight:
Finally, we picked a movie: Suicide Squad II
I wasn’t a fan of the first movie, but the completist in me compels me to watch this one, too, especially since I want to watch the Peacemaker series, and he makes his debut here.
Whether it’s good or bad, you can’t go wrong with a fire, cocktails, pizza, puppies, and a movie on a Friday night!

We had pizza Thursday night. No fire. No cocktails. Not even puppies (although there were two cats and a movie).

Your fireplace insert is beautiful. I have wanted a wood stove similar to that, with the high gloss enamel finish. We have an older, kinda ugly fireplace insert, matte black, very serviceable and I like it. It works better than my favorite kind of stove would, so I’m not complaining. Maybe one day we will have a place for that kind of stove.
