Images that made me smile this week

Yesterday my “days to retirement” counter on my desk hit a nice, neat number:

I saw this sticker on a car on the way home:

My BF sent me this image in a text. Pretty much hits all my sweet spots:

Jeffrey bought this wine labeled “Red Wine for Dummies” for a social gathering. At one point, he attempted to fill my glass while the top was still on. Priceless and perfect. (This was a re-enactment):

A certain blogger changed his profile pic on Facebook. One of my favorites, and it always makes me smile when I see it.

Thanks to friends and strangers alike for the smiles.

  1. You do now that 2600 is also the frequency on old telecom gear that indicated a trunk was in use or disuse. Just dial an 800 number, blow 2600Hz and you’d be able to zip your call along with the right gear. The 800 numbers mostly were out of state directory assistance numbers. Ma Bell knew she was getting ripped off like crazy. So then they moved to out of band signalling in essence modems in central offices where the call setup info would be transmitted.
