I finally finished crocheting the Bear Pride Colors hat and scarf set I started last spring.
I’ve had my second knitting lesson (technically my 4th if you count one lesson each from visiting bloggers Jay and Ann Marie) and I’m starting to get the hang of it, I think. I just hope I don’t try to half-double stitch when I try to pearl two.

You get spanked for that 🙂 You use different needles and different techniques for wravingbthe yarn: crochet = 1 needle; knit = 2 or more needles. Also knitting and crocheting naked is the best way to do it!

My lover knits, but his twin brother is more successful at finishing projects. I’m not a bear, but I like those colors so much more than rainbow colors. My birthday is coming up in December. Hmmm.

I don’t take all the labels seriously at all, but I love both the rainbow colors and the bear colors. I like the leather colors, too – black and blue with a touch of red. Its all good. Homemade crocheted items with colors of your choice are a great birthday gift 🙂
