Sassybear’s Sunday 7

Something I thought about: My eye and what tomorrow’s eye appointment will bring: good news or bad. It’s gotten redder and itchier, so I’m suspecting it will be the latter.

Something I saw: The live action remake of “Charlotte’s Web.” I loved the book and animated movie, and I’m a sucker for talking pigs. (I loved “Babe.”) It did a good jo of sticking to the story, for the most part.

Something I heard: My phone alarm going off every hour, a reminder to take my next round of eye drops.

Something I tasted: A delicious Shrimp Ceviche and Sweet Potato Tacos at a new local Mexican restaurant (Toros) that we went to with friends Saturday night. Yummy.

Something I learned: I get way more steps in just cleaning and moving about my house than I ever realized.

Something I accomplished: My first week of Noom and, so far, I’m loving it. I stayed within my calorie range, met my walking and water goals, and did all my daily readings.

Something I bought: A new kitchen cupboard, which we assembled today and I love it. Not only does it look great, but it gave us the additional storage space we needed. After getting it put together, I spent the day re-arranging our kitchen cabinets and I think it’s a much improved configuration. Jeffrey agrees.

  1. Fervently wishing you an unexpectedly good result for your visit later today, confounding expectations. Rather nervously awaiting your ‘report’ but let’s let it play out.

  2. No pictures of your rearranged kitchen? I see how it is.

I am formally seconding Debra’s wishes that your eye appointment goes well, or at least not awfully.

I remember enjoying Charlotte’s Web the book, but I do not think I have seen a movie adaptation. Do I want to?
