I don’t think it was a serious attack on crocs. I think it was an attempt to be humorous about the fact that everyone assumed it was gonna be about the rainbow flag.

As for Crocs, I am not so much bound by the fickle winds of fashion. I wear my Crocs whether they are “cool” or not, because they are comfortable and easy to put on. And on rainy days they are perfect.
It could be worse. Unlike the residents of Mitchell’s city, I am guessing this child has both legs of their shorts rolled up to the same height.

We’ve got a super cool American 14-year-old visiting who loves her Crocs, which are apparently very cool. I can’t keep up.
