Apparently, this is who I am now:
Seriously, I got a good night’s sleep last night and I’m finally feeling functional, if not exactly energetic.
I did wake up to this, though:
Honestly, we’ve gotten very little snow so far, so I’m not complaining.
It was a busy day at work, but it was a WFH day so yay for that. I was able to get a few chores (laundry, cleaning) and small final house projects done. The big change is that we swapped out the pencil Christmas tree we hung our Mermen on to an ornament tree and we love it:
They’re so much more visible this way, as is our Fairy Ornament tree:
But poor Sebastian had to be moved to the other side of the dining room:
Tonight, to celebrate being done done AND awake, I am having a Blood Orange Cosmo:
- 1.5 oz Mandarin Vodka
- 1.5 oz Cranberry juice
- .5 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 1 oz Orange Juice
- Splash of Lime Juice
The BFJ arrives tomorrow after work for the weekend so, hopefully, there will be adventures to share.
Stay safe, all.
Poor Sebastian. You had better be nice to him or he might run off (swim off?) to live with Mitchell instead.
Ornament trees? Blood orange cosmos? I hope the Concerned Moms of America don’t learn of this.

I love the ornament trees! You have such a compelling collection of Mermen ornaments. I’ve never seen the fairies. They look β¦ handsome. π Sebastian seems to like the other side of the dining room just fine, from the looks of him.

Those ornament trees are a great way to display lovely ornaments all year long!

I love your mermaid collection. And I especially love Old Lurker’s thought that Sebastian might swim here.
