After a couple more days of after work cleaning and putting things back in order, as of tonight, the homestead is officially back to normal. We only had one casualty…a much loved glass giraffe plate we purchased in Ogunquit a few years back.

We are exhausted, sore, and a bit exasperated, so we’re celebrating surviving another x-mas take down with gin martinis.

I can’t wait to return to normal tomorrow…work, home, Harvey, dinner, TV, bed.
Now THAT’s the life for me!
Oh no! Now you’re going to need to get another plate!

Too bad about the plate, but I guess its time had come, alas.

The plate served you well and sacrificed itself for your Christmas down-sizing goal.

I’m sorry for the loss of the plate. I hope the cocktails helped in the grieving part. That’s what I’d be doing if it were me.

If you have all the pieces you could get some epoxy and put it back together.
