With the family gatherings over, we took the day off and had our own personal Christmas today. Here’s a tiny sampling of the day:

SQUEEEEE! Jeffrey is the most generous spouse and never fails to bring me to tears with his amazing gifts.
Sure, I got Jeffrey lots of gifts, but he outdid me once again, and has been doing so for 25 years. Although I think I won the consolation prize for this little personalized item:
Tomorrow, the BFJ arrives for Christmas: Take 3, then his hubby will join us on Saturday to celebrate New Year’s Eve together.
I’m exhausted from all this celebrating and will probably sleep for the entire month of February.

Uh oh. It looks like Harvey is hitting the bottle. You may need to stage an intervention. You know what happens when folks get into the gin.
The ornament is adorable, but five years from now you are going to look at it and think you were both clean-shaven in 2022.
