This afternoon, we are hopping in Mogo (my Subaru Forrester) and heading to Hartford Connecticut to have dinner with the BFJ, his hubby, and a lovely lady couple they introduced us to a couple years, that we absolutely adore. The BFJ’s hubby will cook, so you know whatever we have, it will be delicious.
Tomorrow morning, we’ll be catching an early train to NYC. The BFJ has planned the whole day:
Lunch at Trattoria Trecolori
A performance of “Take Me Out” starring Jesse Tyler Fergusen
A walk to Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas tree and maybe catch the Saks Fifth Avenue light show
Dinner at Del Frisco’s Steak House
And, finally, cocktails at the Marriott Marquis Lounge
Sunday, we will scoop Harvey-monster up from the kennel on the way home, and no doubt spend the remainder of the day napping. It’s a jam packed weekend ahead and, although we’ve no doubt it will be a super exciting Holiday adventure, I’m exhausted just thinking about it.
Maybe I should wear my new giraffe slippers to walk around the City…

That trip sounds exciting and exhausting. Spare those giraffe slippers the dirty and hard surfaces and let them relax with you at home. They will appreciate it.
