It has been a very busy week – work is ramping up, and we have been cleaning and rearranging furniture this week to prepare for the BFJs visit and Operation: Decoration this weekend. I am already exhausted just from prepping. Given how I feel after just prepping for it, I can only assume the actual decorating will kill me.

In other news, I recently received an email from an Idler (which is what I call folks who read and follow my blog, FYI) Ginger, (I’ll wait for you all to sing the inevitable phrase in your head – I’m sorry about that, Ginger) a dear reader (Idler) who apparently not only manages to tolerate my drivel on a regular basis, but admits to it. She asked if she could send me something in the mail she was sure I would like. I lightly feigned protest (as one must do in such circumstances to appear less materialistic and greedy,) but I was too intrigued to refuse her offer, so I gave her my address and – VOILA – a few days later THESE showed up at my house:

Truth be told, I had no idea these awesome things existed, so I researched them a bit and here’s what I found out about them:

I absolutely LOVE these, especially because they feature my favorite Peanuts character, Franklin, who seems to be getting featured in more Peanuts collectibles now (FINALLY!)

I also have to mention that Ginger made me aware of a house in her neighborhood graced with this little overdoor image:

Now, of course, I have to :

1. Find out who lives there.
2. Convince them to sell their house to me.
3. Come up with money to buy another house.
4. Move.
5. Find a job in NYC.

Although, I suppose it would probably be a lot easier and less expensive if I just painted the same image over my door here at my current house, but I’ve never been one to take the easy way.
