Filleration

I have such great ideas for posts (I think), but work and life and “yadda yadda yadda” gets in the way, and then, by the time I get a chance to blog, it’s late, and I’m tired, and all my ideas have washed away. But I want to get in the habit of posting regularly again so, even if all I do is write one of these lame posts, by gum I’m going to write it.

I had dinner (and reconnected) with an old friend, after work, tonight. While he is a friend of both mine and Jeffrey’s, I decided to plan this dinner one on one, just my (our) friend and me. It was wonderful to see him again, and catch up, and just be together in the same space. My social circle has shrunk so much in the last few years, but the people who remain have become so much dearer to me, and every moment spent with them is precious and uplifting. And, although I love Jeffrey with every fiber of my being, and love being a couple, it is nice, once in a blue moon, to be just “Sean” instead of “Sean and Jeffrey.”

But ONLY once in a blue moon.

Cuz that guy is my world.

Stay safe, y’all.

  1. Well I know with my Social Circle and work blogging time does get hard to be found. I’ve generally switched to mostly posting at night for a new post. But I did see your comments on my blog yesterday and you gave me a good belly laugh. And I did respond to your one!

  2. I understand too. I have so many great ideas for a blog post then by the time I get a few minutes for a post, those great ideas have vanished in my remaining brain cells. These days I just don’t have time to update my blog daily like I used to in the past. That said, I will always blog though while I’m alive. Blogging is part of my life these years.
