It’s bad, and threatens to get worse.
My daughter, married to a trans man, is afraid her marriage will be annulled. She called me this afternoon in tears.
We have the same fears and I worry for your family and ours as well. So many people from so many communities are at risk to have their civil liberties stripped away And their families torn apart. It’s terrifying.
Hello! I concur with both of you. The major events in the past have been leading up to the unprecedented and contentious current event regarding the SCOTUS’ decisions on abortion and its striking down Roe v. Wade, which can have various implications and ramifications for the following:
Reproductive freedoms…
LGBTQ freedoms…
Contraceptive freedoms…
Migrants freedoms…
The freedom of liberty (common sense gun safety, and police reform)…
The right to vote…

Yup, Which is why so many of us were horrified when the orange turd was elected. We knew his election and actions would have long reaching effects and we’re feeling them now just as we feared.

Dark days ahead for so long as there’s an extremist right-wing majority on the US Supreme Court.

As far as I’m concerned, Clarence Thomas declared war on us yesterday.

Yup. He got his. Now he’s going to screw the rest of us out of getting ours. The irony of a black man coming after other minorities is not lost on me.
