With (LEGO) Friends like these

I finished my new LEGO Friends Apartments kit over the last 2 days. It was so much fun and I love the finished construction.

First I removed all the bagged packets.

That’s a lotta pieces!

Then I organized my construction site.

That’s a LEGO movie playing in the background, for ambience.

Then the construction begins

The book gives you step by step instructions.

First completed: Joey and Chandler’s apartment.

The chick! The duck! The canoe! JANICE!

Next, I finished the connecting Hallway.

Ross stopped for coffee at Central Perk. Don’t step on the cheesecake Chandler & Rachel dropped.

Part 3 was Monica and Rachel’s apartment

So many details, from Phoebe, to the Turkey, to Monica’s junk closet in the back.

Finally, I placed the finished apartments next to the previously constructed Central Perk set

Such a fantastic display.

I loved putting all these together and am a little sad they are all done, but I love the finished pieces. I wonder if they’ll make any more Friends sets (like Ross’s apartment.) Not that I have room for more, but when has that ever stopped me?

  2. That looks like so much fun! Another blogger put together the HOME ALONE house. I had never seen these before. I have never had LEGOS, but I want some now.

  6. I was so disappointed in your previous weekend post…..no mention of the lego project. I was dumbfounded that you hadn’t worked on it. YEA, today’s post makes me so happy. Good for you.
