Today is our 22nd wedding Anniversary. My husband, Jeffrey, put a ring on it back in 1999 and has yet to ask for it back. (Whew!)
I couldn’t ask for a better life partner, caretaker, pet co-parent, travel companion, advocate, protector, cheerleader, dinner date, or friend.
Through thick and thin, better and worse, brightest days and blackest nights, we’ve been doing it our way, together.
He’s the Lucy to my Ethel, Abbott to my Costello, Bert to my Ernie, Peppermint Pattie to my Marcy, Harry to my Sally, Batman to my Robin, Clairee to my Ouiser, Thelma to my Louise, Lone Ranger to my Tonto, Adam to my Steve, Laverne to my Shirley, Frodo to my Sam, Bobby to my Andy, Idgie to my Ruth, Armand to my Albert, and Patrick to my David.
He’s my real life Superhero, and has made all of my dreams come true, and then some.
Give us any chance – we’ll take it!
