Sometimes it is easy to overlook how awesome Patrick Stewart is. Here was a guy coming off an incredibly popular TV series, taking a flamboyantly gay role in a movie. That may be no big deal now (in fact the gays probably would label it cultural appropriation) but surely that was a career risk back in 1995? I did not see the movie, but I distinctly remmeber feeling that he was putting his career on the line.

I highly recommend it. It is a bit dated, but funny in spots and watching flamboyant gay Patrick Stewart is an extraordinary experience! Also…hot guys.
