Boxing Day

The closest we came to celebrating this is having a house littered with boxes. Although I’m going through a rough spell, health wise, I still had a great Christmas with Jeffrey and the pups comfy and warm at home which bled over into today when the BF, Jim, came for “second Christmas.” T

We all had brunch, swapped gifts, then watched “The Prom” on Netflix. (LOVED it on Broadway! LOVED it on Netflix.)

The guys have been great, letting me rest all day, and making sure I’m comfy and content. They are both in the kitchen right now, prepping dinner (something I would normally be doing but for my current lethargic state.)

I’m a lucky fella indeed!

My new buddy, Larz, the IKEA Elephant.
My new buddy, Lars, the IKEA Bear, quickly claimed by Rita Mae.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

  1. So sorry that you are not feeling well. So happy that you have hubby and bf to take care of you (not to mention Harvey and Rita). Hoping you can leave 2020 on a healthier note and that 2021 will be healthier for all of us. Hugs and healing thoughts coming your way

    • Thanks. Still trying to figure out what the issue is but at least I’m home on vacation this week so I can rest until it (hopefully) resolves. Hope you are doing well, health wise, as well.

  2. Sorry you aren’t feeling well. Get well quick. I love Ikea’s stuffed animals. I bought one for myself, but of course one of the fur babies claimed it. They sleep on it. Not that they don’t already have cat beds, but for some reason the Ikea stuffed animal is a better fit!
