The puzzle is complete.
It has been a welcome distraction from current events and I found it very calming to work on. Because so many of the pieces were similar, I really had to focus my attention and spot the tiniest bits of variations to be able to place each piece. After a while, I began to notice the slightest variation in shade, or the speck of a different color I hadn’t noticed before that made each piece unique. (I’m sure there’s a life lesson in there somewhere.)
I think this is a beautiful image. I have applied puzzle glue, and after letting it dry overnight, will be framing and hanging this in our home.
It’ll be a constant reminder that we always have love in our home, even if it is growing harder to find evidence of it outside our door.

Once we have the table space, I plan to complete a puzzle. And also a space where the fur babies aren’t allowed. I can see them continually interfering with the piece assortment.
