Dad said I turned 10 today
Not much changed in these 8 years
Less brown face, same big ears
Ate some bacon, took some naps
Spent some time on Daddies’ laps
I got watermelon, then
Spent more time with Dads again
Just a day of leisureness
A perfect day for this Princess
Who knows what a birthday’s for
But it was fun, can’t wait for more!
