Sweetness

What is this, you’re wondering? This little green Tupperware bowl. I noticed it on the kitchen counter the other day, and asked Jeffrey about it. He just said when I thought I needed a pick me up I should open it.

I resisted for a while, but eventually curiosity got the better of me and I opened it:

Inside, I found 2 small cookies and a couple of Swedish fish.

Background: I love cookies. All cookies. Sinfully love them in ways that are illegal in 49 states.

I also love Swedish Fish. Any time we hit the road for a car trip, these werevmy go to snacks. Ever since I discovered my gluten allergy, Swedish Fish have been a no no.

I’ve been having a difficult and stressful time with my staff working remotely, so Jeffrey decided he wanted to do something to make me smile. He found these little cookies and gluten free Swedish Fish on line, and surprised my with a little bowl of treats at the end of the day.

Since then, every day, I come downstairs at the end of my work day, and there is the little green bowl waiting for me, filled with two cookies and a few Swedish Fish.

It is incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and is just another example of what a wonderful spouse and partner Jeffrey is.

  3. That is incredibly thoughtful. I know the cookie addiction very well. That’s why I’m going to Albertson’s during the weekend. I know fresh ones will be in stock.
