I’m struggling at work.
I’m struggling with my health.
I’m struggling with my weight.
I’m struggling with blog posts.
I’m struggling with life.
So, where should we go on vacation?

Probably somewhere warm.

Always a good idea, but it probably won’t be until October 😦

Palm Springs. We just drove across the USA and it was the best place we went. We will go back in a plane and stay there for a couple weeks. Loved it.

I think Spo and Someone will be out there this week or next. They always stay at a lovely place. You would love it! So many friendly people in Palm Springs plus the weather cannot be beat. Just wonderful!

I hear ya though; I too am struggling with a health issue and it’s gotten me into a moderate depressive state. what cheers me up is seeing the crocus and snowdrop flowers outside; the daffs are also pushing their way up. sunday baseball games on the radio. my current sweater knitting project. a silent dark room. the cats. {{{{{hugs}}}}} dear.

Palm Springs! Pat and I just returned from two glorious weeks there. Just the best place in the world to go during the cold dreary days of winter. Already made our reservation for next year!

I vote for Palm Springs. Don’t come here. Nearby Chula Vista has Coronavirus and it’s a matter of time before other parts of the county get it.

Of course, I really want to say Melbourne, but I know…the plane trip. So many people are turned off by the notion of 14 hours on a plane, but on these new airliners, it’s really not such a big deal. Anyway, I will echo others with Palm Springs. Two of my dearest friends live there, and during my Tucson decade, I drove over and spent a lot of time in PS, and at different times of the year. It’s equally fabulous year-round, but a late-autumn or winter escape is ideal. Summer is bearable with evap cooling and a rental car with excellent air con. You just don’t want to be outside after 10am during the roasting season.
