Today is World Giraffe Day. World Giraffe Day is an annual event initiated by Giraffe Conservation Foundation to celebrate the longest-necked animal on the longest day or night (depending on which hemisphere you live) of the year – June 21st – every year!
Most of you who follow my blog know by now that I have a slight… affinity… for giraffes, and have stashed a few giraffe items around my house. I will share a few photos of these items. Because giraffes are spotted for camouflage, they are hard to detect and, because not everyone is as keen as I am at spotting giraffe paraphernalia, I have taken the liberty of pointing out the handful of giraffe items in the following pictures of my home, room by room. Get ready for a Safari, Sassybear style!

I hope you were able to spot a few.
I did not know there was such a day!

There is, and I love to celebrate it. Perhaps we should celebrate it together next year?

Giraffes are some of the most majestic animals on the planet. Speaking of them, did you see Toys ‘R Us is going to make a comeback?
