Derailment

My blogging will continue to be sporadic and erratic for awhile. We are dealing with a personal matter that has taken up pretty much all of my time, attention and energy. I have discovered new levels of stress and anxiety, and I look forward to the day this is behind me.

My sole bastion of support and oasis from the insanity has been Jeffrey. He continues to hold my hand through it all, offering assistance and solace whenever he can. His compassion, empathy, and unwavering support illustrate, once again, what an amazing spouse, partner, and friend he is. I seriously don’t know what I’ve done to deserve him, but I am grateful for everything he has done and continues to do for me and us.

I may be guilty of Hypergamy.

  1. It’s okay. I totally get it. I’ve been MIA during the work week for quite a while now and feel guilty about it. Hang in there. You can always reach out to me, too.

  2. We’re all wanting to see you get through it and beyond, S/b – and with rainbow flags flying like crazy. Wishing you all the luck and best wishes you need. XXXX.

  3. Hope this trying time is just a blip and your life gets back to normal soon. Jeffrey is indeed your treasure(and you is I dare to say).
I am traveling right by y’all a week from this coming Sunday on our way home from NH. I was hoping for a quick meet-up but I’ll just wave as I go by instead since you seem to have your hands full now. 😉

    • Sorry, Sluggy. It’s a family care situation, so when I’m not at work I’m playing caretaker while navigating family politics. I won’t have any free time until end of July. But thanks for thinking of me 🙂

  4. So sorry to hear of your stress and yet so glad you have the support of Jeffrey. Hopefully July will come shortly and things will settle down. Hang in there, pet a dog frequently and hug your husband way too often. Drink, too, if you have the chance
