Doggone Comfy

Every morning, making the bed is a challenge because Rita Mae does not like to get up before she is good and ready. We often have to roll or slide her from one side of the bed to the other and make the bed one side at a time (no easy feat.) Even once we’re done, she crawls back under the blanket and gives us a long, deep sigh to let us know she’s comfy and has no intention of moving. The only thing that gets her up and out of bed is the sound of the lid coming off the ceramic treat jar in the kitchen.

I’m with Rita on this one.

My Torrie does that. I gave up a long time ago. The chances of me making the bed while she’s still able to jump up on it are now less than 50%.

  3. I don’t blame rita one bit! I wanna join her!
