21 Years ago, the guy on the left asked me out for coffee and our lives were irrevocably entwined from thn on.

It has been a journey that has taken us from extreme to the other, from penniless to prosperity, healthy to hurting, messing around to married, kid-less to canine dads, car rides to keywest, back yards to Broadway, cheap drinks to champagne, hopping apartments to homeownership, entry level to envisioning retirement, ups, downs, highs, lows, here, there, and everything in-between.

We’re no longer where, who or what we once were, and we have no idea where, who, or what we will be, but we do know one thing: wherever, whatever, whoever, however, we’ll be together, hand in hand, heart in heart.

Happy 21st “First date” Anniversary to my husband, my partner, my companion, my protector, my provider and my hero. Here’s to another 21 years of breaking all the rules, and doing it our way.
