While I’m not one to prioritize doing all the typical tourist things while visiting a new place, I’ve been known to indulge from time to time (especially when we’re with friends who want to do those things.) This morning, we hoofed it over to the marker in the picture above and stood in line to record proof that we were here. It was a beautiful morning, so the walk was pleasant and the temps comfortable. I’ve been really impressed with the lack of humidity here, which I have almost zero tolerance for.
This experience has us wanting to visit other parts of Florida, eventually.
Well it is Florida in early March so humidity isn’t such a problem yet.

Location and time of year have a lot to do with humidity levels. The Gulf coast can be pleasant in the cooler months. The interior parts of the state, where I spent most of my childhood, are notoriously humid in the warmer months. Warmer months are April through October, generally. Glad you guys are having fun!

Glad to see you’re having a great time. I agree with the others. During the hotter months of the year I hear it’s quite humid. That’s why when I move I’m going to a place that’s less humid than what I deal with during certain parts of the year.
