‘Tis the night before X-mas

And here in our house

Dogs are a-snuggling

With me and my spouse

The fireplace crackles

With flames warm and bright

We’re all settled in

To relax for the night

Foods are abundant

Salty and sweet

Cocktails will help make

Our repast complete

We’ll watch Game of Thrones

Then a Movie or two

Then head to bed early

To await you-know-who

So to friends near and far

Who visit, call or write

Seasons greetings to all

And to all a good night
