Blow job

Sometimes, the only way to deal with a miserable, rotten, no good day is to come home, whip out your trombone and blow in it for 3 hours.

  1. I played the trumpet in junior high school and I was simply awful. I remember how tired my lips would get.

    I used to play the clarinet when I was a kid. To this day, I have no idea why I gave it up. Playing music is fun, even if you don’t do it professionally.

    Buying one of those electric keyboards is on my shopping list once I buy my own place. I miss playing one of those, too.

  3. My son played a trombone…for three months. It was torture to listen. Then, mercifully, he broke his arm and broke it again the day he had the cast off. Happily for us all, he gave the trombone.

    Sounds cathartic, in theory. From this distance I can’t tell how it sounds in reality.
    I’ve never played a horn, but I understand it can be hard on the lips.
