Dressing Myself

I was craving salad for dinner but we didn’t have veggies or dressing in the house (we usually do but I was sick last week and we didn’t make it out to grocery shop) and feeling too lazy and tired to go to the store.

So we ordered a giant salad from a local pizza place, and I searched for a balsamic vinaigrette dressing recipe on Google. I whipped up a batch and it was delicious. I will be making it again. Here’s the recipe:

1/2 cup EVOO
2 Tbs Balsamic Vinegar

1 Tbs Red Wine Vinegar ( I had none, so I used Red Wine.)

1 Tbs Minced Garlic (I used pre minced garlic from a jar.)

1 Tbs Lemon Juice 

1 Tbs Powdered Mustard (I had none, so I just used regular mustard)

Ground Black Pepper

Sea Salt

Shake it up good and go to town on a salad. 

Mmmmmmm!

    Ah – there you go down the path of never buying salad dressing again. Seriously, I do one with minced garlic, ginger, full grain mustard, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil with salt and pepper to taste. It’s awesome.
