DC Comics has declared June 3rd “Wonder Woman Day.”
My comic book shop (Earthworld Comics in Albany, NY) celebrated the day by giving away free Wonder Woman comics, Tiaras, and Bracelets, so of course I had to go.
I had my picture taken with one of the employees, dressed up as the official “Wonder Woman” for a day:
These are the shoes I wore (of course):
I picked up my monthly books and a free Tiara and Bracelets:
Ans, of course, I had to try them on:
(Yes, those are my star-spangled underpants!)
I continued to celebrate the day by using my Wonder Woman dishes:
While I am usually known for loving my number one guy, Green Lantern, I am also a huge Wonder Woman fan.
I could not see the movie today, due to so many other things I had to do, but I will be seeing it tomorrow. Word on the street is that is an awesome movie. I can’t wait.
Happy Wonder Woman Day. May the Glory of Gaea be with you!
That is a GREAT montage of photos! Thanks!

Happy Wonder Woman Day indeed! The movie is outstanding, and I definitely want to see it in IMAX the next time I see it. I’ll give you one, tiny spoiler. Ice cream is involved. đŸ™‚
On a side note, I thought it was fitting and wonderful that Katherine Legge won the GTD division in the Detroit Grand Prix road race at Belle Isle today. She is a noted WW fan.

While I have little interest in comics/heros/etc. I DO enjoy your enthusiasm for these things! And of course you have Wonder Woman sneakers – why WOULDN’T you?!?!

Indeed someone and I saw the movie on the 3rd. Midnight showing of course. And while the setup took time the action parts were very cool.
