On our 13 year wedding Anniversary

In honor and celebration of the 13th Anniversary of the day we first said "I Do", I write these words that I said then, meant, and still do:

I ask you, Jeffrey to be my partner for life.

I promise to always be here for you

To remain by your side

When things are good

And when things are bad.

I promise to always listen to you

And value your thoughts and feelings.

I promise to try to bring light to your darkness

And when I can’t, to hold your hand

And stay with you until it fades.

I promise to comfort you,

Nurture and support you,

To show you gentleness and generosity

And to give you room for personal growth.

I promise to encourage you to follow your dreams

And to support you if the road to those dreams gets rough

I promise to do all I can to keep anger from our life,

To never cause you pain,

To always be honest with you,

And to admit when I am wrong.

I promise to share with you

Those things most sacred to me:

My family, my friends,

My trust, my tomorrows

And most importantly, my love.
