Jim’s Pic A Day May: 18

Avengers Assemble!

20120518-153055.jpg

Hubby and I both have the day off so we finally went to see the “Avengers.” I decided to wear one of my birthday gifts, a “Green Lantern: New Guardians” T-Shirt.

The movie was phenomenal. Marvel has raised the bar for super hero movies. I just wish this team had made the Green Lantern movie.

    I like it too.

I just KNEW that you would like this film, S/b. ‘Fraid I didn’t really share your enthusiasm – but you’d have guessed that anyway. However, the film was by no means lacking in some enjoyment, even for me. There was quite a number of sharp one-liners – and both R. D. Jnr & The Ruffalo were entertaining. But I concede that it was aimed at an audience one or two generations younger than I am – where you yourself are definitely placed, so it’s me who’s out of the loop rather than there being any defect in the film. But YOU enjoyed it – and that’s good enough to know.

Btw: May I echo Shawn’s comment on the pic above? “Woof” is exactly right.
