Today we say good-bye to a co-worker who is retiring. We’ve worked together the better part of 10 years. He’ll be missed, especially since I’m assuming his work load.

I can’t wait to retire! Assuming I ever can. Until then, I’ll continue to trudge through the work day and play the lottery. Hey, you never know…

Such a shame that when we do retire we don’t (usually) have the looks to attract to the same extent as before, nor the energy to do what you want – even though there’s so much time to occupy. Unless, as you say, you have the resources to retire early before that stage is reached. Life is so unfair!

I too am tucked up in bed with my little doggie (and my laptop) on a cold morning, catching up on my blogger buddies. The local news says that there were light snow flurries about 60 miles to the north of us. I’m not ready for that!
