I am REALLY excited that I got some more art work and framing done today.

Don’t know if I’ve done this before, but I thought I’d share the evolution of a drawing. Sometimes I sketch, draw, ink and color a drawing all on the same image, but many times I sketch, then trace over on to a new piece, then color onto a final piece…this allows for a finished product that’s cleaner with no sketch marks. I like to keep the pieces the artwork is built on.

Here’s a piece I did for the lgbt pride show last summer. This is not a piece I’ll be showing in April.
