>Beating the odds

Although I had the day off, my morning was a tragic train wreck the minute I slid from under the blankets. After several unbelievable strokes of bad luck, (really, you would not believe how wrong making coffee and checking e-mail can go) as my anger and frustration started to rise, it hit me: nothing else can go wrong today if I don’t do anything.

So I didn’t. I cancelled all plans, gathered up my comics and laid on the couch reading all morning, then took a nap and am now watching a Ru Paul Drag Race marathon.

No projects worked on. No cooking. No travel. No Facebooking. Hell I almost didn’t blog today just to be safe.

I may not have been able to make things go right today, but I sure as hell don’t have to let anything else go wrong.

Who said avoidance never solves a problem?
