>Saturday Status

Last night, we went to dinner with a friend before going to the Albany Gay Men’s Chorus concert, then stopped over at Rocks for a cocktail afterward.

This morning, I skipped the Santa Speedo run in downtown Albany and opted to stay in out of the cold and spend the morning reading blogs, crocheting and watching DVRed TV by the fire.

This afternoon, we have a pseudo-office holiday party (thrown by a co-worker) to attend, then either a movie and pizza night at home or maybe dinner out and a movie with friends depending on our energy levels and my mood.

Tomorrow morning we go visit my sister, her new hubby (of 4 months) and my niece to see their home. (My sister and niece moved into the new hubby’s place after they got married and we have yet to visit them there.) Then we have a few hours of down time before heading to the final night of gay bowling for this half of the season; we’ll break for 3 weeks then start again in January.

I don’t have a lot of energy and my mood is still bad although better than it was, so mostly I’m going through the paces even though I really wanted to shut myself in all weekend and hideout from the world. keep hoping enough activity and socializing will knock me out of this bitter stupor I’m in.

Que Sera Sera…

    >You should have checked out the SSR in Albany – it may have put a smile on your face. I went to the Boston SSR which was on Saturday and spent the afternoon laughing. I posted a video and some pictures from the Boston Santa Speedo Run… if you're still not feeling the holiday cheer, check it out on my blog and I'm sure it will bring a smile to your face.
