Place Holder

Just popping in to say hello. Not much time to blog lately, and little to nothing to say, I’m afraid. I did not get the promotion I applied for and that has me really bummed out. Other than that, all is status quo, except for the stuff that is not, which I can’t discuss here, although it would be really cool to, only I’m not sure I’m ready to share with the masses ( and I’m not sure they’re ready to hear it),  so I’ll just leave this all vague-y for now.

Note: When you leave a comment on my blog, I get an e-mail notification and I have to approve it before it is officially posted. I started this when I started getting anonymous comments left by someone (or someones) who was/were leaving personal insults and offensive attacks on me. I have kept it up because now I get about 10 spam comments a day that I can delete instead of posting. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I’ll leave you with one of the first pics I’ve gotten of Rita and Harvey sitting still next to each other and just looking at me. They are both doing well and are really starting to get used to each other, often playing or wrestling, with an occasional out and out fight, but nothing involving biting or wounds…just a lot of loud snarling and teeth baring…kind of like how bears get at a bear night when a new cub appears. (ha ha ha.)

Thanks for sticking it out until I find my groove again.

  1. I think, and trust that, this pair of beauties will be helping you to bear the disappointing hit you’ve just taken, for which I send you a heap of consoling hugs – as well as also being for the ‘other’ matter(s) currently blighting your life.
I’d remembered some time ago you mentioning something about getting hostile comments from a certain quarter so I’d assumed that that is why you’d set up and continue to operate with a ‘moderation shield’. (I hadn’t thought of there being damn irritating spam as well.) But having this precaution is no inconvenience to me. Anything that helps to keep you safe gets my vote.
Now tell those two – “NO MORE FIGHTING! LOVE EACH OTHER!”
