You’ve all been SO patient, that I planned to do the official video house tour of the new Breen Acres this morning for today’s post, but I just didn’t have the energy or focus today.  After going non-stop for 2 weeks, we hung the last picture and wiped down the last surface last night, just as the doorbell rang and our first guest arrived to join us for our first movie night at Breen Acres. A night of cocktails, snacks, good friends and laughter (and a couple of GREAT movies) was a great way to celebrate the end of our settling in and the start of what I hope is our return to our regular hosting gig.

Today is our first day of NO plans, NO projects, and NO guests, so we’re just sitting here relaxing, basking in the wonder of our new home, patting ourselves on the back for all the hard work and time put into making our new house a home. It’s beautiful and it’s perfect for us and I look forward to spending the next umpteen years here together.

So, who’s going to come visit first?
