I woke up this morning feeling, if not invigorated, somewhat rested and mostly free from discomfort, so I got up and got to work and managed to get a lot done today. By the end of the day, I was exhausted but satisfied I had made the most of my day.
As a treat, I took a long, hot shower in our fabulous new shower, shaved my head, soaped and rinsed every square inch of my pudgy little body, then toweled off and trimmed my eyebrows and beard and shaved all those errant old man hairs that love growing off my ears now. It felt amazing to be so clean and shorn! Then, I stepped on the scale, because I am a masochist, to discover I’ve lost 10 pounds since Feb 9th. Holy Crap. Amazing what not eating much and moving non-stop can do.
Hubby and I ran out for a few errands, grabbed a “home cooked meal” at Boston Market and headed home where we have enjoyed our first night in the new house relaxing, watching TV and taking a night off.
Tomorrow we have a big project but, tonight, we have total peaceful bliss.
Aaaahhhh….
Normalcy is a good thing.
Mmmmmm, yes, Bliss is good. Depending on the type of pendulum….it can be blissful too.
Bliss is good; stay there for now and no more swinging pendulums.
Sweet!
Pleased to read that your ‘downer’ didn’t last longer than it did – and that you’re back to living again. Still looking forward to the ‘tour by pics’ of your new domain.
Have a great weekend!
